Birth
Michael Shereda was born in a hospital in Southfield, Michigan on April 2nd, 1985, with an Apgar score that was normal to high. His parents, David and Mary, knew that he was special from the beginning, but they would soon (and repeatedly) be proven wrong. A day or two after birth, Michael was taken to his childhood home in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he lost his birth shell and took on the form of a human boy.
Early Life
Michael’s early life was pleasant enough. He caught a big fish, beat Super Mario World, rode his bike, discovered the Beatles, went to the beach, played with Andy, monkey-pinched his sisters, watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Bucky O’Hare, hugged a stranger’s leg at the supermarket, went on roller coasters, and more!
Adolescence
Michael’s adolescence was boss, choice, bangin’, off the hook, on the hook, fab, gear, good, bad (meaning good), and
“a time of both disorientation and discovery. The transitional period can bring up issues of independence and self-identity; many adolescents and their peers face tough choices regarding schoolwork, sexuality, drugs, alcohol, and their social life. Peer groups, romantic interests and external appearance tend to naturally increase in importance for some time during a teen’s journey toward adulthood.” – Psychology Today
